Hi - My name is Jed & I am the Talent Acquisition Manager here within CDL, I manage all the recruitment for CDL, and I will be your point of contact throughout your journey.

CDL is a family owned business which is growing steadily which in today's climate is worth celebrating in itself. L&D is a big part of your life at CDL for instance we are keen that all the Software Engineering are all AWS certified. CDL have a Career Framework which sets out in black & white what you need to achieve to progress.
CDL is focused on the retail insurance sector, particularly in the UK, and we provide transformational solutions for insurers, brokers, price comparison websites and other enrichment providers. These focus on driving operational efficiency, ensuring intuitive user interfaces and data-driven customer journeys.

In terms of our customers - if you were to go onto a price comparison website for car insurance for example, about 65% of the brands displayed are serviced by a CDL system. So we are a big player in the InsurTech space – and we are still growing.
In terms of tech, we deploy everything in AWS Cloud, running technologies such as Java, Python, typescript & JavaScript.
Who am I?
I have just shy of 10 years recruitment experience majority of which I ran my own recruitment agency prior to joining CDL in 2021.
I've been with CDL for nearly 3 years now and I manage the recruitment process for all the recruitment for CDL.

My top tip would be to be honest about the extra work you have done to develop your skills in your own time - after all it's lifelong learning.
